This section - which is under development - introduces the work of the boards, committees and task forces that constitute the organisation of the Diocese.
Diocesan Mission Committee
The Committee promotes growth and evangelism across the Diocese:
Planning and Administration Board
The Planning and Administration Board deals with issues such as property matters, the costs of repairing churches which are not covered within insurance claims, and the site of the Diocesan Office.
Faith and Order Task Group
An introduction to the activities of the Faith and Order Task Force.
Buildings Advisory Committee
The Committee approves proposed changes to the structure, furnishings, décor or lighting of church buildings.
Boundaries Committee

Finance and Property Committee
The Finance and Property Committee covers issues related to Personnel Grants, Property Grants and Diocesan Property and Quota.
Diocesan Trustrees
Information about the role of the Diocesan Trustees will be posted shortly.
Cathedral Chapter
The Chapter meets four times a year under the Bishop's leadership to reflect on the life of the churches and the overall direction of the Diocese.
Diocesan Area Groups
The Diocese has three Area Groups: Aberdeen City Centre; Deeside/Donside; and the North Area Group.
Diocesan Chaplaincies
The Diocese operates a number of Chaplaincies throughout Aberdeenshire.
